Con-Vivamos, desde su Programa por la Defensa y Transformación Social del Territorio, la Mesa de Vivienda Comuna 8, y la Corporación Montanoa-A, desarrollaron La Escuela Territorial de Barrios de Ladera 2018, para dar a conocer la actualidad en las propuestas comunitarias, así como de los proyectos públicos para el borde urbano rural al costado nororiental de Medellín, en la parte alta de las comunas 1 Popular, 3 Manrique, y 8 Villa Hermosa, aprovechando el desarrollo temático que los procesos comunitarios y sociales han venido acumulando; así como el ordenamiento territorial que impone a la Alcaldía de Medellín el interés de iniciar el proceso de formulación del Macroproyecto Borde Urbano Rural Nororiental (BUR-Nororiental).
